Stopped in to try their Golden Hour for a 4 draft beer and an appetizer. WOW! I had the hippie dip and it was healthy and tasty. Then decided to try the potato cauliflower soup and loved it! Highly recommend. Great value and location. Staff was friendly too.

Very tasty food with heartfelt and warm service. You can tell the owners really care about creating a nice experience. The vegan garden burger was satisfying and we enjoyed the summit bowl. Fair price as well. The place is huge and even able to accommodate big groups. We’ll definitely be back

Just had lunch. Absolutely fantastic. The food was creative and delicious! The service friendly and attentive. The owner-lovely. A great spot for lunch and a 2pm Happy Hour! Thank you High Country for a great dining experience! Fun 80’s tunes too!

FINALLY!! Cornbread in Colorado like authentic Southern skillet bread…but better. Mingled with chiles, corn, and a side of fresh strawberry jam, it had a perfect moist texture with crispy black skillet crust and sharp cheddar on top. I also loved the pepper-jack, burger and jam grilled cheese on fresh homemade bread. My friend had the brisket sandwich and fresh cut fries. Our first experience proved there are lots of restaurant choices on Pearl Street—High Country needs to be at the too of the list. Laid back, friendly, indoor/outdoor seating, and from scratch cooking. (Sorry we ate all the cornbread and half my melt before thinking to snap a pic)

Stopped into eat while visiting, needed an escape from the heat and was very happy to sit inside with air conditioning, however there was plenty of shaded outdoor seating as well. The menu looked incredible, our server was friendly and helpful. The restaurant was clean and eclectic. The food was absolutely mouth watering with generous portions. Would definitely come back again!

My most recent visit to High Country found me devouring the Summit Bowl with the chicken option (avocado, mushrooms, shrimp and/or salmon are all additional options if one chooses). I apologize for the picture as it is half eaten before I thought to take it (too delicious to stop after one or two bites). Mike was kind enough to recommend this dish to me. Highly recommend our new restaurant - don't forget Gemini next door (Same management)!!

My favorite restaurant in Boulder! Their cocktail menu is excellent. The skillet cornbread is so good I got seconds the first time I went. The food is always wonderful, and the menu ranges from casual sandwiches to great New American style cuisine. High Country is my go-to for happy hour and special occasions.

I crave this place enough to end up here almost once a week. My favorite is their Flank Steak dinner. It is great tasting and much better than the local steak houses - which makes it an exceptional value. It’s my go to cut of meat for home grilling for flavor and tenderness and they make it right. I’ve had friends who “don’t eat wings” love their theirs and eat a whole plate. Even the car camper cheese fries are more sophisticated than you might expect. Everything my friends and I have tried while exploring their menu has been surprisingly better than expected. It’s a good spot for great food.
